Reports to:  Principal


Purpose:  Provide job-embedded professional development for teachers to support and sustain effective teaching and learning, resulting in improved student learning.  Coaches help teachers advance their skills and provide teachers with feedback, challenge, and support.




Physical and Emotional Requirements:  Speaking, hearing, visual, reading, writing, word processing, mobility, consistency of temperament, ability to problem solve and work in stress providing environments.


Performance Responsibilities: 


Terms of Employment: 9 months Certified position. Work year to be determined by the Board of Education.


Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board policy on evaluation of instructional coaching staff.
