Reports To:  Building Principal

 

Position Purpose:  Organize, supervise and conduct developmentally appropriate activities daily to allow children to foster self-confidence and independence.  Work closely with the family to ensure that they receive training, services, and assistance as needed.

 

Qualifications:  Must have a Bachelor’s of Education degree with an emphasis in early childhood education and a current Kansas teaching certificate.

 

Physical/Emotional Requirements:  The incumbent may be required to use the below requirements during any part of the working day.

 

Speaking, hearing, manual dexterity, mobility, lifting (as much as 20 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, sitting, handling a variety of stressful situations, flexibility in adjusting to varied levels of pressure and intensity, patience, calmness, persistence.
