Reports To:         Media Services Coordinator                       

Qualifications: 

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Preference given to students attending Topeka Public Schools

Physical/Emotional Requirements:  (The incumbent may be required to use the below requirements during any part of the working day.)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Performance Responsibilities: 

Help with activating chromebooks and renovation of two school library media centers:

• Activating chromebooks for use by students
• Library records updating in the Destiny library system
• Sorting, shelving, moving books and other materials
• Lifting and carrying furniture
• Moving and assembling library shelving
• Processing library books
• Related duties as assigned

Terms of Employment:

These positions will be needed from May 26, 2020 through the end of July – 6 hours per day

Salary:  $7.25/hour
