QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploman/GED
* Thorough knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment
* Ability to follow complex, oral and written directions
* Essential to be able to get along well with others while using good judgement, tact, and courtesy
* Ability to comfortably and professionally interact with the general public
* Proficiency on Microsoft Office products
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Ability to handle stressful situations
* Dependable in attendance and observing office hours
* Maintain confidentiality
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Greets school district personnel and the general public in a professional, comfortable manner
* Answers busy office phones and processes mail for the Department
* Maintains the Department's web pages
* Maintains confidential filing system
* Processes employee leave forms
* Maintains a calendar of events; set up meetings/interviews
* Other duties, as assigned by Human Resources Administration
Physical/Emotional Requirements: The incumbent may be required to use the below requirements during any part of the working day.
Speaking, hearing, visual, mobility, dexterity, consistency of temperament, multi-tasking, stamina for stressful situations. Fast-paced environment; some lifting; sitting/standing/walking at will. Sitting for long periods of time.
Terms of Employment:
12 months; salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board policy on evaluation of Support Service Personnel
