REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be 21 years of age Must be a U.S. citizen
Possess a high school diploma or GED
Capable of meeting physical and psychological needs
of position
Must possess exemplary written and verbal
communication skills
Capable of thinking quickly and creative problem-
solving skills
Capable of interaction with a diverse, highly-
educated population
Able to be certified as a police officer under
Kansas law
Flexible, service-oriented objective outlook and
commitment to customer service

PREFERRED:
Previous law enforcement/security experience with
educational, healthcare, or government protective
service
KLETC certification
Some college education
Bilingual
