Goal:  This position will be responsible for providing tutoring services to children living at the Topeka Rescue Mission, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 6p.m. to 8 p.m.  The following activities will be expected of the person who will be providing these services.  

• Provide tutoring/homework assistance for academic achievement and skills acquisition.  This will occur during holiday periods.
• Provide supervision during field trips and enrichment time
• Consult with parents regarding homework completion
• Provide resources to parents that could benefit the education of the child
• Provide direct support to individual students and to small groups of students
• Work collaboratively with other team members to provide suggestions and input for program fidelity and improvement
